Refund and Cancellation Policy

All orders are final. We do not offer a general cancellation or refund policy.

Any order cancellations requested after payment and prior to shipping will result in a flat 10% restocking fee for international customers.

This is not an arbitrary fee. We end up losing about 7-9% of the sale value in fees to Shopify and PayPal as well as currency conversion costs, because PayPal gives you the lowest exchange rate of the day.

Further, we are not allowed to maintain a foreign currency balance in our PayPal accounts by law. When you make your purchase, PayPal India immediately removes that amount for processing into Indian Rupees, which we receive a few days later. 

If we have to issue a refund, however, we have to issue the full amount at the HIGHEST exchange rate of the day, plus card or currency conversion fees that range between 1-2%. These very real costs add up to 10-11% in total.

We're a small bootstrapped brand, and cannot bear them over time. Thank you for understanding.

Returns and Exchanges

All sales are final. We do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges EXCEPT in the following cases:

1. The product is damaged during shipping.
2. The product does not work correctly upon delivery, provided
3. The product displays large cosmetic flaws that are not part of its finish (e.g. some hand-etched/hand finished products, as well as anodized aluminium surfaces).

Exclusions to this warranty are: sale/seconds/special sale/B-stock/blemished/prototype item that exhibits large cosmetic flaws explicitly marked, described or advertised as such and intimated to the customer prior to purchase.

Replacements to product purchases covered under this return/exchange policy will be dispatched within 10 working days of our receiving the damaged product from the buyer. The buyer will bear the cost of shipping to us unless agreed otherwise.

In case of non-availability of a replacement, the buyer will be refunded in full within 14 days of our receiving the returned damaged product from the buyer through the same online payment channel, unless agreed otherwise. 

Warranty
Your Animal Factory Amplification product is covered under a limited 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects and failures. Please write to us at shout@animalfactoryamps.com to report any problem you might be facing with your product. Please register your product at bit.do/afa-war 

Shipping

Our products are designed to be user-serviceable to a large extent. In some cases, shipping the product to us may not be necessary. Please contact us prior to any shipping at shop@animalfactoryamps.com.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Please ensure that you use a tracked/signed-for/signature verified shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance when sending items to us. We will explicitly not take responsibility for items lost in transit to us.
